THE ORIENTAL FISH IS GUNNA EAT YOUR CHECKBOOK, NEBZ. THEN YOULL BE SORRY.

Senior year is a blast, and it's only the first week in. Our first football game was yesterday. After jazz band, concert band, and after-school practice, my lips were numb. I'm still new at this trumpet business. We got out there and played The Star Spangled Banner and the Alma Mater X_X Our first song fell apart because 1/3 of the band couldn't see Mr. Rauh. The way the bleachers are set up, is kind of awkward. They are sort of diagnoal. When we stand up to play a song, the furthest away bleachers [trumpets] can't see Mr. Rauh at all. So I worked up some courage and asked Mr. Rauh if I could conduct. He sort of reluctantly said yes. After the first song I helped conduct, he asked our bleachers if I helped and everyone screamed "YES!!!" So that's what I did the rest of the night.

It was amazing. I don't think I've ever had so much fun at a football game. I was outgoing, loud, goofy, and people actually LISTENED to me. I can't wait to do it again on the 23rd [?]. XD XD XD XD XD
